US: Boyce::Mangin is Paula Mangin and Robert Boyce, two media directors from successful independent creative agencies who met at a buying shop and are trying to "re-humanize" media.
We function similer to a creative team, working with clients and/or agencies to develop strategies and plans, and bring in the best resources to help execute our vision as necessary.
We love what we do and are in business to do it for a small group of great clients whom we repect, who like and respects us back.

MOUTH PHILOSOPHY : In our opinion, one of the most effective media channels, if not the most effective, is "word-of-mouth". When someone you respect and trust tells you about the latest restaurant you must try, or where to snaq the beat old school sneakers, you go.
Our success has been driven primarily by "word of mouth". The relationships we have developed over the years, through doing great work with fellow agency colleagues, sales representatives and clients, has formed out client base. These friends change jobs, remember us, and either hire us or recommend us to others.
Not everyone will like what comes out of our mouths. But we will always be honest and true to our beliefs. You will never have to guess what is on our minds.
We will now shut our mouths. Sometimes it's best to let the work speak for itself.
SPINE PHILOSOPHY : Having a strong spine is critical to our integrity.
We stand up for our clients, and represent them in a strong, yet respectful manner at all times.
We stand up for our ideas, even if no one else does.
And we stand up for ourselves in dealing with the media, agencies and clients. If we don't respect ourselves, no one else will.
GUT PHILOSOPHY : The more research and technology has automated media selection, the more we feel that gut instincts yield the best ideas and the most successful strategies and plans.
Sure, we use research to help inform our thinking. But sometimes all of the data in the world is no substitute for what our gut tells us.
Using our gut can cause the gut to hurt, as often times these ideas are not easily rationlized, at least by traditional research. Which is why we keep Tums on hand.
